About Canberra Behaviour Vet
Owning several dogs with complex behavioural issues prompted Dr Eloise to undertake additional postgraduate study in Behavioural Medicine at Sydney University in 2014. After consulting on behaviour issues for almost ten years in general practice, she became a member of the ANZCVS in Animal Behaviour by examination in 2022. This means that she has proven by examination to be highly knowledgeable in the field of veterinary behavioural medicine.
Dr Eloise started Canberra Behaviour Vet in 2021, offering housecalls for cats and dogs with behaviour problems. She enjoys not having to rush and being able to take time to get to know her patients, much easier than trying to squeeze a behaviour consult in between vaccinations and other consultations! It also allows a more thorough evaluation of the behaviours a pet is showing at home.
As the founder and volunteer vet at ACT Pet Crisis Support, a charity that helps low-income pet owners with their vet bills, she is passionate about animal welfare and maintaining the pet-owner bond even in times of crisis.
Dr Eloise lives with her two young boys, husband, two energetic dogs called Tommy and Eevee and a cat called Cosmo.
